Our Lady Of Windermere & St Herbert

Dear Visitors

Our visitors come from all over the UK and the world.  We are blessed to have in our congregation, such a diverse mix of people from a variety of backgrounds: you only need to strike up a conversation to find out.  Many of our visitors return year after year and we welcome everybody from every faith and background.  Our doors are truly open!

Our church is large open and airy with disabled access.  We are fortunate to be able to welcome guests fron the Windermere Manor Hotel for the visually impaired and regular guests from our local Leonard Chesire Home.

We have a small side chapel and there are frequent liturgy groups for children who are an important part of our congregation.

After mass on Sunday many of us meet for a drink, biscuit and chat in the side hall and this is a great opportunity to find out what is going on in the area from the locals.  This hall is also available for use after services such as baptisms and we can hire it out at a very reasonable rate for other events.

See you soon!

God bless.

Fr. Kevan

HOW TO FIND US

Turn into Winderemere from the A591. Drive through Windermere towards Bowness. Our church is easy to find on the left. Look for the clock tower on the left - we are just after that!
